7 Things to do to Get Into the Fall Spirit
If you’re like me, you’re just now realizing that Halloween is over and that means the fall season is almost over. I know TECHNICALLY winter doesn’t start until late December, but in Virginia it gets pretty cold once Thanksgiving hits. With projects, exams, and essays taking up the bulk of my time, I haven’t even been able to get into the fall spirit!
Here are 7 ways to take advantage of Fall if you’re as late to the game as I am:
1. FALL SCENTS
This is EVERYTHING. Fall is the time for snuggling and pumpkin spice candles. When my room smells like fall, everything feels like fall.
2. Have a bonfire
Grab a group of friends and cozy up with some fuzzy blankets! Roast some s’mores, tell some stories, and make some mems!
3. Scary movie night
Halloween might be over, but it’s never too late for a scary movie night! Open up Netflix and binge watch both seasons of Stranger Things. I know that’s what I’ll be doing.
4. Visit a thrift store & SPLURGE on cozy sweaters!
This is my new favorite pass time. I have found so many cute and cozy sweaters at the thrift store near by all for less than 7 bucks!
5. Caramel Apples
These are my favorite! I just picked up those mini to-go containers of caramel to dip the apples I picked when I took these photos.
6. Go on a hike or nature walk
How can anyone hate colorful fall leaves?! I have purposely been taking the back roads whenever I drive somewhere just to see all the trees.
7. Visit the farmers market
Make it a date! Grab your boyfriend or your mom and check out what the farmers market near you has to offer.
